I now can no longer use it because it depends on the suction to hold the lid on.

I got this for Christmas last year and have been AMAZED with the results. My husband loves to make pork chops, and in my opinion they can get a bit dry. NO MORE! Instead of marinating all day, we plop our chops in this thing for 20 minutes and we're good to go for some seriously tender chops. I actually used this last night on some flank steak - the recipe called for it to marinade all day and, oops!, I missed that. So I threw everything into the Marinade Master, and it turned out perfect and juicy and tender.

I did notice that when you put too much meat (i.e., 6 or more pounds) the wheels have a hard time turning. With as little time as this takes, we've decided to put no more than 4 pounds at a time in here, and just run it multiple teams. Easy solution.

My sister had one of these and my husband was amazed at how it worked. I purchased it for his birthday and he just loves it. Great product.

Have used this about 10 times now and every time the results blow us away. One thing we do on large pieces of meat is tumble it for 20 mins then let sit in the reefer for an hour then tumble again 20 mins and return to reefer again repeating the process over and over again. The results is a marinate ring some what like a smoke ring you get from a smoker, makes a killer pork lion.

Bought my second one now, just to replace the lid AGAIN... If you drop the lid while working with oily marinade coated fingers, it cracks easily and then you cant get the container to pressurize again, so you then you are SOL. Loved it before the lid broke - this company needs to get at better lid system or give free or cheap replacement lids - I tried to Fix it withh acrylic bonding agent and it worked ONCE... then it recracked in the same spot. SO FRUSTRATING.

I bought this machine and it worked great for awhile, other than over loading it and the rollers slipping. I now can no longer use it because it depends on the suction to hold the lid on. I have done every thing to no avail it looses the suction and the lid comes off in mid rotation, it worked great for awhile. It needs a new way to keep lid on.

I originally bought the RyoVAC (or however you spell it)from a different seller but when it came it was damaged. So i sent it back and instead bough this marinator. The first time i used it i put in two chicken breast and let them marinade for 30 minutes (the machine suggests 15), i then baked them. They came out moist but the marinade did not really penetrate the meat. It just kind of coated the outside the same as a regular marinade. It is convenient that the tumbler does all the work but i honestly can say that there letting your meat marinate all night is a way better option, and adds way more flavor.
The second time i used it i added about 4 chicken breasts cut up into cubes, thinking this would allow the marinade to penetrate better. The first thing i noticed was that the plastic bowl would not rotate. over time it gradually picked up pace and started to work, but this took about ten minutes. The motor is not strong enough for anything more than 4 chicken breasts really. After it picked up pace i had it rotating on the machine for about 1.5 hours. I then cooked the chicken and the same thing happened not really any marinating flavor. All the flavor seems to be on the outside of the meat and nothing on the inside. You can just put your chicken in a zip-lock bag and gain the same effect. I am glad i chose this one instead of the ryovac, which is almost 200. I am not convinced that there is any way to speed up marination any longer than putting your meat in the fridge.
