Great detail! No surpise with McFarlane figures and here we are not disappointed. The pack has an entrenching tool and bayonet, he's carrying an extra - different style - canteen we can assume he "acquired" for the intense heat, k-bar, med-kit, etc. On most figures the mouth is closed but here he is showing his "war face". I was amused, and impressed, to see individual teeth! THAT's detail.Another great offering from Amazon! Recommended.

The figure matches well with the old Dusty Trail Sgt. Stryker in my collection and the Okinawa Marine. The size of the helmet is better. The only mistake with the figure I received was that the M1 rifle was "gold" colored. Quality control failed to spot that the rifle had not been painted. Since I build scale models as a hobby I will be able to correct this when I have time.My children wanted to know if this was Sci Fi character and had a magic weapon.

I was waiting for these WWII figures from McFarlane. The sculpt is well done and details are good. Just wish they could release some German soldiers too.
