Must have Organizational History of the WWII USMC,
By
This review is from: US Marine Corps Pacific Theater of Operations 1943-44 (Battle Orders) (v. 2) (Paperback)
Gordon Rottman, a prolific writer and historian who has recent some of the best Osprey titles, succeeds brilliantly with this 3 volume organizational history of the USMC in WWII. In a clear concise manner, Rottman, manages to give a detailed overview of the development of the USMC order of battle during the war. This book, as well as the other two volumes, is a must have for those interested in the Marine Corps WWII order of Battle.

This review is from: US Marine Corps Pacific Theater of Operations 1943-44 (Battle Orders) (v. 2) (Paperback)
This booklet is part of an entire series. I have no problem with the quality of the written material, however the publishing company did a mediocre job in the printing. Some of the printed pages are very light and hard to read. Photos in the book are very light and the source of the photo, (a USMC photo) the author does not source! Even when he does, the text is so small and light that it is unreadable. This booklets are published by Osprey Publishing.
