Back during the 1980s, the Marine Corps created this manual with the specific purpose of getting troops in shape to fight. Covering not just the standard prepare for the test training, this manual includes water survival, marching under load, log and rifle pt, grass drills, guerrilla exercises, isometrics, running, obstacle courses, circuit training (not curves), weight training, combatives, water sports (like polo), competitive events (largely team), remedial training, instruction, leading pt and the human body. Filled with creative and unusual exercises and ideas, this is a highly useful text.
