Aside from a 365-day pocket calendar, the front of this book has about 60 pages of good shiphandling gouge. Weather, lifeboat survival, underway checklists, radian rules-- lots of basic deck officer good knowledge. Also blanks to put in your ship's characteristics; like DWT, draft, tactical diameters and weapons-- handy for the SWO JO. Finally there's personal data; your pay, address, insurance stuff-- pretty handy. And as titled, it fits in the back pocket of your khakis. Worth the price.
