I was looking for a deeper dish casserole and this was perfect. A HUGE dish for a very fair price. Handles on the side are added bonus. People like the light blue tint & simple design. I've received several compliments. The borosilicate glass seems thicker than my Pyrex & Anchor Hocking items, but lighter. I've used at 500 degrees F w/no problems. Marinex says oven safe to 572 degrees. I also bought the smaller 3qt dish & the two items nest perfectly inside each other. Love this! FYI: Current Pyrex is NOT made from borosilicate glass. Borosilicate used in laboratory glass (beakers, etc) because it can handle varying temperature extremes.

This is a great dish! I've used it a dozen times since ordering it and it's as pretty as it was the day I bought it. No staining at all. It has deep sides and is big enough for about anything, but isn't oversized by any means. There is also no safety hazard in this dish like new pyrex dishes (google exploding pyrex for some horror stories). This works flawlessly in a 500 degree oven and I've had no issues with it.

This is basically a very nice, DEEP 9x13 baking dish (Not including handles in the measurements - it's actually 14 x 9 1/4 x 2 3/4). I was very happy to find it to replace the newer, thinner Pyrex dishes I had. Food bakes great in it. Highly recommended!

Great dish size! Now when I bake my brisket, the juice stays in and there is no spills!

We ordered two Marinex deep lasagna pans and upon receiving our order we realized that one of the pans was chipped on the handle edge. We did not find any chipped glass in the packaging (must have been shipped chipped already), the pan was very well wrapped. We sent back the chipped pan and promptly received a replacement pan within a few days; very good response on the replacement. After carefully examining the new pan it had a couple of minor blemishes in the glass; small minor imperfections internal to the glass. As we set our replacement pan beside the original pan we we noticed that the original pan was not straight along the sides; there was a slight bow on one long side of the pan. We were somewhat disappointed that the manufacturer (or Amazon) would first of all ship a chipped pan and secondly that the manufacturers quality control would allow these products with these imperfections to be sold. It is not that these pans are not usable (we have not baked with them but will keep them for now) but we thought we had found a reliable brand of quality cookware that we could continue to buy in the future. Now we know we will have to scrutinize any product Marinex makes due to the quality of product they allow to be shipped. The only reason we bought Marinex was an article we read & reviews about the lower quality Pyrex type pans currently being produced that were prone to thermal shattering because of cheaper glass being used. If when we use the pans we experience any other problems we will return them under warranty for a refund. Price was great but the quality was not what we expected; do not like playing the return game on mail order or online purchases. I have been looking for a larger glass baking dish for some time and I was able to finally find one on Amazon! As far as the size of it, it is wonderful very large and very deep so that is wonderful, you get an A+ for having just the size I was looking for to complete my holiday cooking. Also love that it is glass because I used to cook with those aluminum pans but they bend, and buckle under even the lightest weight so I needed something much more sturdy and I have definitely found it in this 5 1/2 quart glass baking dish. Only downsides to this is the brand name is not Pyrex which I trust so I hope this Marinex can stand up to the same reputation and the dish does not come with a lid and it is impossible to find a lid in this size so I will have to use foil which I was hoping to avoid. Other than that, I am really happy with my purchase.

This is the perfect baking dish for lasagna. With shallower 9x13 baking dishes there was always
extra ingredients that had to be put into another 9x9 dish. Now the entire lasagna recipe fits very comfortably into this one larger dish with room left over so it does not bubble over during the baking. It is great.

Great dish, handy side handles, thick glass. Great buy and dish to use! Well packed for safe shipment from Amazon.

Cooks and cleans perfectly, and has already been dropped onto a tile floor with no damage or chipping! This is much easier to keep clean than our old French White Corning dishes.

My wife and I were looking for a large baking pan. This one was just what we were looking for.
