I needed a replacement casserole -- my 15+ year old Pyrex with badly chipped lid, got dropped on cement garage floor and broke. I really like the 3-Qt size, which is hard to find. What a surprise I got with this! Not only the 3-Qt size, but the lid is deep enough to be useful as a pie pan/gratin dish! Two for the price of one! Speaking of price, it was VERY reasonable, and delivered VERY quickly. I am very pleased with this purchase.

It's almost impossible to find a casserole dish in this
size for a reasonable price. And you don't have to
sacrifice quality either. Plus unlike many such dishes
it comes complete with the all-important lid, necessary
for some recipes. This is high quality bakeware you don't
have to spend an arm and a leg to get. We are very pleased
and recommend this casserole. Fast shipping and delivery

Impressive quality for a casserole this inexpensive, and also the lid can be used as a glass pie dish. Good size, but still fits well in my microwave (the carousel can still turn) and nests well in the cupboard.

This flat bottomed casserole is big. It's nothing like the typical, 1.5 quart, bowl bottomed, Pyrex covered casseroles. The lid is a baking dish in it's own right. It is big enough to use for baking a large pie, quiche, 4 boneless chicken breast or heating a nice mound of frozen chicken nuggets or oven fries. A nice size roast or whole chicken can be cooked in this casserole. The flat bottom makes it ideal for baking dinner rolls, too. A cake can be baked in this casserole. For me, the absence of a knob on the lid took a little adjusting to, but I highly recommend.


I stumbled across the Marinex after having a Pyrex explode on me. This one is made from the silicate compound. The glass has a very slight blue tint. The depth of the casserole is about 4" and the lid has a depth of about 2" The diameter is close to a foot. The lid can be used as an inverted cover. It fits nicely into the casserole. The handles are enough to get a good grasp when removing from hot oven. Both the lid and the casserole have handles. They cradle into each other. I use for marinating meats, too...just put my meat and marinade into the dish, put the lid on it, and pop it in the fridge. The quality is great. Delivery was fast and it arrived well packaged in plenty of bubble wrap. Thanks, Amazon.

I have been pleased with this casserole. It is very hard to find this size casserole and if you can actually find one, then it doesn't have a glass cover. This has a flat glass cover and works well in my combination microwave, oven, and convection oven. My oven has the carousel which turns and this casserole fits and is not too large or too high. I highly recommend this casserole.

I needed a large glass casserole, and had trouble finding one in the stores. Bought this one on-line, and it was nicer than expected. Have used it several times and it was perfect!

We're extremely pleased with the Marinex 3.2 quart glass casserole with lid. We're removing as much plastic from our kitchen as possible; thanks to Marinex we now have healthier food storage containers (and cookware). The flat lid allows us to stack things on top of it in the refrigerator; it's a winner all around.
