This review is from: Marinex 3-Quart Rectangular Bake Dish (Kitchen)
As you may well know, Pyrex (in the USA at least) changed its formula for glass baking dishes in the late 1980s - changing from borosilicate glass (which takes heat nicely) to tempered glass (which does not). After a Pyrex dish exploded in my kitchen, I banished all of the new-style Pyrex and ordered replacements - the only decent source is Marinex, and the only decent supplier is Amazon. This is made in Brazil, so it's really a metric dish, notwithstanding that it's marketed as a 3-quart dish (the 9"x13" we all know and love) but it works in all of my recipes.
Very happy with my purchase. |
