Gave this item as a gift and we used it that very day. The smaller size is perfect for non-fruit pies. I made a pecan pie and it worked wonderfully. I have no complaints about this product.

Was happy to receive my pan in a short time. It is hard to find a 9 inch glass pie pan these days. Love that it has handles making it easy to take out of the oven. Great pan.

These are almost beautiful! I was uncertain if I would even like the blue tint, but it really adds to the beauty of these pie dishes. I chose these over pyrex because the size of these are a tad smaller so they will fit easily in my apartment size oven without crowding (but still offered a 1 7/8" depth and 9" across not including the handles). The handles make it easier to grasp the pans. You can take it directly from the freezer to the oven & use in the microwave, too. They are made in Brazil where I guess the hint of blue might be from minerals in the sand or material used to make the glass.

If this is a 9-inch pie dish, it's the smallest one I ever saw. I have two other 9-in. and they're larger.

This dish appears in quality and size to be the same as the old Pyrex which no longer comes in 9 inch. I still have many old recipes that call for 9 and 10 inch dishes that cannot be adapted to pyrex's standard 9/2
