What a brilliant idea! Measuring bowls that can be used for two different measurements each. Why didn't someone think of this sooner? These work easily with an obvious line in the bowls interior that is the 50% measure.

If you love to bake, which requires a lot of measuring. You will love these bowls. There is nothing worse than being in the middle of measuring ingredients for baking and being interrupted. If you use these bowls to measure the incremental ingredients you will never have to remeasure again.

These bowls are dishwasher safe and also clean up easily if you hand wash them. I have two sets of these because they are so useful, and because I do so much baking.

The sizes of these bowls are as follows:
1/8 and 1/4 cup
1/4 and 1/2 cup
1/2 and 1 cup
3/4 and 1 1/2 cups
1 and 2 cups.

If you love to bake, or you like to measure prior to cooking (mise en place) you will love these bowls. I highly recommend this product.

These bowls are very convenient for mixing small quantities of sauces, salad dressings, etc., or for recipe mise en place.

These are NOT NOT NOT microwave safe, though, as I learned the hard way. These bowls get VERY hot VERY quickly in the microwave, and in no time they will melt/explode and make your entire kitchen smell like toxic plastic.

As long as you keep them out of the microwave they're great!

On tv all of the celebrity chefs always have a ton of prep bowls. They make cooking look easy and fun. Have you noticed that their prep bowls do not have measurements? These do. In fact each bowl has two measurements. It marks halfway into the bowl, and then gives you the full bowl measurement.

These making cooking a snap, because the bowls can be used for multiple uses. You can easily chop your way through everything and put together a stew, chili, or just about anything with these. I also like that they are non breakable. This is another plus over the glass prep bowls we always see. They are also dishwasher safe too, so no worry there.

I fell in love with my set very quickly and enjoy them a great deal. I reach for these whenever I have a lot of chopping and cooking to do. A highly recommended item to purchase from this cooking lover!

I'm happy with this set overall, and I'll buy it again. It's nice to use these as both prep bowls and measuring cups.

But my one complaint is the lack of a 1/3-cup measure. Otherwise, it's a perfect set of bowls.

These bowls are great. I make bread a lot and they really help with the prep. My favorite bowl is the 2 cup one. The two cup measure makes it easier, especially when a recipe calls for 4 cups of flour (measuring two 2-cup bowls is a lot better than measuring four 1-cup bowls).

I love my bowl set but a little disappointed that there was no 1/3, 2/3 cup in the measurements.

I put this on my Amazon list as I found this searching through Amazon.com. I got it, and LOVE this set! Great for baking or cooking, each cup has 2 different measuring levels in it. Persimmon color (orange) is beautiful! They are dishwasher safe and seem very durable. I'm VERY happy with this item and may order a second set. Would love to buy for Sister-in-law and Mother.

I am on a diet that requires a lot of measuring. So I thought that these would help. I got them today in the mail and I used them for my dinner meal. They made measuring the food so much easier. I hated to get the regular measuring cups out. These stack so nice and look so good I may just keep them on the counter for easy access. This was exactly what I was looking for. The price was great, the shipping was fast and the ease of use is perfect. I love them.

Please be aware that these are a light more pastel orange. Where as the Measuring spoons are a DARK Brownish/Orange, and the Pizza cutter is a burnt orange. Check customer images for a comparison of Three Batali items.

The bowls are beautiful, almost for display. I bought them for dry measuring which is ackward with this set. It also doesn't have 1/3 c measuring. They are probably perfect for prepping.
