Seeing a lot of comedians before they got "big"... seeing some that should have gone further.

Fun to watch for a few nights.

Well... What can I say?

Comedy is pretty damn subjective so it's hard to really rate something like this. But Amazon won't leave me alone about this one so here goes. About 70% of the "comedy" that I've watched has been pure crap. There are occasional gems like Lewis Black and Mitch Hedberg and some no names that are funnier than the rest. But for the most part it's comedians rehashing jokes about Amsterdam and hotels and as the seasons drag on their kids. Every once in a while you get a comedian who genuinely makes you laugh but for the most part It's like my friend Diamond Dave says, "I go to comedy night and it makes me cry, I go to open mic and it makes me laugh."

this is funny stuff. up roaringly funny. the "old" kind of funny, where every work did not start with an F and end with a reference to a HOA.

I keep this on in the background in my house just to keep it alive.

At night, I get to watch it with my kids and they love it also.

I'm grateful that it is free with PRIME. I would not have the money to buy it. This PRIME program is the best thing since swiss cheese.

I love it!!!

I look forward to Amazon bringing all the older stuff back. And without commercials. YEAH

Dave Attell close captioning does not match voice (I'm hard of hearing not deaf, so I noticed it after laughter did not match end of joke)
The jokes on (cc) were ok and the ones I could hear on voice were as well but having messed up (cc) is no laughing matter - joke intended - to those who are deaf or hard of hearing so one star until it is fixed!

I'm a huge fan of stand up comedians, especially the ones who entertain without a huge amount of profanity like Gabriel. Being hearing impaired makes it difficult to see them in person, so I appreciate the captioned shows on television.

This collection of comic performances includes some good stuff, some early stuff from great stand-up comics, and an awful lot of "blue" stuff. If you take care in selecting, you can find an entertaining 30 - 90 minutes here.
