Mario Testino was born in Lima, Peru. His fashion photography appears internationally, from Vogue and Vanity Fair to The Face and V magazine, while his advertising campaigns for Gucci, Calvin Klein, Burberry, Ralph Lauren and others have dominated the language of fashion photography worldwide. His previous books include Alive (Bulfinch, 2001), Front Row/Back Stage (Bulfinch, 2000) and Any Objections.

If you catch this exhibit in London, you will be amazed at how many of the photos you will recognize not knowing who the photographer was. No wonder Princess Diana allowed only one man to catch her as she truly was, simply a woman. The fashion shots and ad campaigns are great. His celebrity photos are ok, but Testino is fashion and that is where his best work lie. In either b&w or color, these photos speak!!

This collection is superb and the size of the book is well chosen to display the images. It's a well rounded selection, including fashion, editorial, advertising, personal and celebrity. Reproduction of the images is high quality with good resolution and colour. Highly recommended to Testino fans.

I like very much this book. I like format, photos, colours. Mario Testino is one of the best contemporary fashion / celebrities protographer and I must agree with this opinion after seeing this book. It's worth to buy!
