More About the Author

Sharon Hackleman worked as an at-risk youth counselor in emergency shelters and group homes for several years. Currently, she is studying for her B.S. in Metaphysics and intends on opening her own Holistic Counseling Service for teens in the near future.

Sharon is the author of Marion the Magnet's First Mission, a fun children's book that teaches kids about the law of attraction with her character's 'easy as 1-2-3, think it to be!' lesson.

Sharon also created the popular teen affirmation cards, Mind Time Cards. The idea for the cards came to her while she was conducting a therapy session with teen girls in a group home. The cards are a valuable tool used by counselors, teachers, and healers who work with teens.

Sharon lives on the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii where she enjoys the relaxing island lifestyle.

With all that's negative in the world today, it's a pleasure to read something that will positively affect children.

The book, "Marion the Magnet's First Mission," by Sharon Hackleman, is a cute story about a happy little magnet who is sent to earth to teach children about their "magnetic powers." Marion teaches children to think positive thoughts instead of negative ones, to keep an open mind, and helps children to realize that they can accomplish anything they set their minds to. Brightly colored illustrations are scattered throughout the book, and help to explain the important moral of the story.

One thing I would have preferred, is fewer "image-less" spreads - three just seemed a bit much, even though they were scattered throughout the book. This was something that bothered my seven year old. Images play a huge part in keeping a child's interest - I could feel my daughter's eyes wander a bit while I was reading those pages.

MyParenTime.com recommends this book -- my daughter and I both enjoyed it and she learned a valuable lesson. She learned that she held the key to a wonderful power inside herself.

Sharon has written a wonderfully fun, postive book of how children can attract to themselves what they want by the way they think.

It is all the power of positive thought.

It is a fun, fast read. This book guides children to their pattern of thinking, and how they can use it.

Children can relate to this exciting illustrated book of magnetic thought and have lots of fun with it.

Like Marions says, 1-2-3 Think it to be!
