One of my favorite things to do is to sit with my dijembe drum and play along with music. (I mainly play piano & guitar)I enjoyed doing this with Sise's 1st album, and looked forward to the second album. I won't talk about the 2nd album, but just this song, "Mariposa En Havana". The rhythm is perfect, the 'guitar' sounds programmed, but maybe that's because it's arranged that way. The vocals are heavenly to me (but I like Carol C) I get right into the groove. But I imagine something more, like a guitar solo on a nylon string guitar (Spanishy) But right where it could have been, is just more 'programmed' tune. I like to imagine the potential, but am wishing for more. But I do like the groove. |
