Marjolein Bastin is a talented artist and her Nature's Journal 2010 Wall Calendar is a nice oversized calendar (Size Closed: 12.0 x 13.25) and (Size Opened: 24.0 x 13.25). The paper is sturdy embossed linen with a single brass grommet on the top, perfect for reinforcement when hanging. Bastin's artwork is lovely in detail with soft muted colors and her favorite subject ... Mother Nature. The calendar is filled with artistic illustrations of flowers, seashells, birds, rabbits, squirrels, groundhogs, and butterflies, and inspirational quotes for each month. I've been buying her calendars for the past six years; for me, each one is a delight and a keepsake for personal memories. Amazon has the best price that I've seen for this 2010 calendar, and if you have Amazon Prime, the shipping is free. Marjolein Bastin also has other calendars, journals, books, etc., including her whimsical, adorable Vera the Mouse series.

If you love flowers and nature you will love the art work of Marjolein Bastin! Her calendars are a yearly Christmas gift for my daughter-in-law, and I also purchase one for myself too. I highly recommend this product.

I didn't actually open as it was a gift. However, the pictures for each month were on the back. It was a nice size and Marjolein Bastin's work is always beautiful. The calendar came quickly, too. I wish I had had it sent to the recipient instead of having to come up with a mailing package (box was rather bulky).

Ms. Bastin's obvious love of the natural world shines through as usual. The color and detail are so true-to-life. Her work simply takes my breath away. I'm very happy to have more of her beautiful artwork in my home.
