This candle takes 3 AAA batteries and I use 900mAH rechargables in it. They last about 10 days with the candle coming on 6 hours a night. The dimensions of the candle are 4" high and 3" in diameter. The reviewer who said the candle is not 4" measured the diameter, not the height. I will buy more of these; you can't find too many colored LED candles on the market today for this price.

I bought two candles not knowing a whole lot about the product, but wanting something that was flameless. I am so impressed with the timer feature. They come on for 6 hours and off for 18. They give a light yellow glow and look wonderful on our wall sconces. I have to admit that I don't smell the Bamboo in them, but I didn't buy them for the scent. I plan on buying a few more in different colors.

I ordered several of these candles, hoping they would be similar to others I already own--except different colors, other than off-white.
I was pleasantly surprised to find the candles are actually made of wax and have a nice scent.
However, they are listed as 4" candles when, in fact, they are actually 3" candles.
Additionally, the flameless candles I've been using for the past year all lasted over ten months on one pair of "D" batteries, with the timer switching on a realistic glow every day, as scheduled. These candles, unfortunately, each used up their 3 "AA" batteries in less than a week.
I would not recommend purchasing one of these candles.
