I bought two...the blue and the gold. They are brighter and last longer than I expected. Of course you cannot read by them, but they add a perfect glow to the garden. I got up at 3 am one night and the blue one was still going.

On day three of using them, the gold one died. The next day I took off the cover to the battery and just wiggled the battery so the contact would be better and it's been going strong for a week ever since.

A friend stopped by last night and he just loved the lights. He had come by to see our new fire pit, but I think he was more taken by the lights!!

I ordered 4 of these on two different occasions. I ordered two at a time. Half the units are broken with wires and circuit boards torn and in pieces. Eventually other modules malfunctioned. I kept the jar and replaced modules with solar light modules from Lowe's.

I found this item quite disappointing, and I don't use it at all. The glass jar was fairly pretty, but the small light inside was very cold, weak, and didn't really illuminate the jar very well. The solar panel only works with outdoor sunlight, and doesn't charge indoors, which was not clear to me until I received it. Since I live in a northern climate, I was hoping for something I could leave outside for part of the year, and bring in and put on the window sill for the rest of the year. I don't get enough direct light indoors for that to work. It doesn't seem very sturdy, and I wasn't sure how it would withstand being left outdoors all summer, either. I'm sorry I bought this.

Purchased a different color of this product from a different distributor and it worked beautifully. Upon opening the box, the battery and wires had been ripped out. Searched contents of box for invoice or return address labels to notify vendor and there were none. Do not recommend purchasing this item from Amazon, and will reconsider future purchases from this website. Best of luck!
