the measurement is not accurate. The reading is lower than the real temperature (compared with my other theromometers including the traditional one)

if you take 2-3 times consequently, the reading will vary a lot(around 1-2F). I have to believe the highest one. It is very confuse.

I think the problem is not from incorrect using. Since these problems happened in adult as well as children.

Used this item as a filler to get a $20 promo discount along with a MF77 BP monitor. This item works just fine and is easy to use.

This thermometer is supposed to beep when the temperature is reached and also if the person has a high fever. IT DOES NOT BEEP AT ALL.

I tried two units and neither of them worked. I strongly recommend against the purchase of this product. It does not deserve even a "1 Star" rating.

This thermometer gives a fast reading and seems to be accurate. The probe is small so it easily fits under the tongue. The electronics part is quite a bit heavier and sits out fromo the probe so there's a bit of a lever trying to pull down on the part outside of your mouth. So, I find that it's a bit difficult to keep it stationary while it takes the reading (I just hold it). It beeps when the temperature readiing is complete but I do find the beep to be too quiet so I have trouble hearing it. The thing is easy to clean since it it has a fully covered body (except for the probe tip but that seems fully bonded to the body); I would not suggest immersing the whole thing into water.

It has a funny chemical like taste possibly because of the soft rubber used, wonder how much of that chemical is going into the body!

Readings of this oral thermometer seem to be quite accurate.

The instrument did not "beep" when finished with the temperature reading.

I brought thus really expecting to solve the problem of my grandson not wanting his temp taken because it takes so long. This thermometer not only takes longer than advertised it is not accurate and does not beep when it reads the temperature. This thermometer is a complete waste of money.

Not sure about the accuracy of its measurement. The temperature kept varying over different attempts within 10 minutes.

This product is terrible and 80% of the time, I will get different results from consecutive measure&reading(varies 2-3F!). I'd like to rate it as negative star if I could. Don't buy this!

I bought two of the mf12s. I tried them both at the same time and there a two degree differance.
