this book is great for individuals who want to have a betting understanding of the bible understanding the inner meaning. It was the first time the bible made sense to me! Nicole has great insight!

Just like Nicoll's other writings, this is an incredibly insightful book....especially regarding the meaning behind stories/words used in Scriptures. This will be one I re-read for years!

Although this book was unfinished before Nicoll died, it remains an essential part of his revelatory work on the Gospels that began with "The New Man"(a book that opened my eyes about biblical language as no other had done). "The Mark" was completed and assembled, I believe, by Nicoll's son, who certainly understood the point and the ideas. The next step? Maybe track down Nicoll's five-volume commentaries on the teachings of Ouspensky and Gurdjieff.
