4.0 out of 5 stars Just wish it was a little longer...
As a lifelong 'Skins fan, it was great to hear stories from the "glory days" and hear stories about Riggins, Gibbs, Theismann and the rest. In addition, some stories are real eye-openers (the section where he discusses answering the phones on the sidelines and what he had to do surprised me), while others are just hilarious (Riggo figures prominently, surprise surprise)...

2.0 out of 5 stars Rather boring
Very basic book. I thought it would be a lot more interesting for me since I am a huge Redskin and Hog fan.

As a huge fan, I am glad I bought it, although its length was a little disappointing - it was a FAST read, and I for one could have used a few more stories, which is the only reason why I did not give it five stars.

want to state that it was well written, meaning easy to follow, every topic was covered in turn without any jumping around needlessly, well thought out as to how all the stories were told and presented. All in all a very enjoyable read. Just like the first reviewer, I wish there had been more. I personally would have liked to read more about any and all gossip about Marlene Cooke, who I thought from the few glimpses I caught of her on TV, was quite attractive into her late 30's and early 40's, Theissman/C.L.Crosby, what female fans were like to deal with when one is a Redskin!!!, much more tidbits/gossip about the two strike season (what May himself heard/saw), more personalities from other teams. I recommend this book very hightly
