2.0 out of 5 stars Similar or identical to Blake and Hollister, July 19, 2005
This review is from: Mark VII Men's Short Sleeve Golf Shirt with Stripe Trim (Apparel)
These are a good value for money, but not more. The construction is adequate, the design pedestrian, and the collars curel up rapidly after washing.

I am nearly certain that these are an offshoot of Blake and Hollister. Some models are good, some are horrible. This is just fair.

I would also beware of the exceptionally high rankings of other reviews. Note that they review nothing but these makes of shirts and are all positive, an indication that they are not all genuine reviews but have been placed here to influence buyers.

2.0 out of 5 stars Planted reviews, misleading pictures, bad shirt., September 21, 2005
This review is from: Mark VII Men's Short Sleeve Golf Shirt with Stripe Trim (Apparel)
Hi. I recently bought six of these shirts on Amazon while they were on sale for $5.89, on sale from the regular price of 7.89. (the $42 that it originally was, of course, is fake.)

Anyway, from the pictures and reviews it looked as if it was a great shirt for an unbelievable price. However, the pictures look nothing like what the actual shirts are and many of the 4-5 star reviews are most likely planted by the manufacturer, as they discuss none of the many flaws these shirts posess. The material feels very cheap and is rough and irritating to the skin. The shirt is one size larger than specified, and I can only hope it shrinks a LOT. The Mark VII tag at the back scratches at your neck. The patterns on the shirt are ugly, nothing like what the pictures show. The colors on the shirts are also different from what is shown. For example, Cadet Blue, in my experience, was gray and dull looking, and while on the website it was the best looking color, it is now the worst of these shirts. Overall I'm not very happy with these shirts, but at $6 per shirt, I shouldn't have expected a lot. Not worth their $8 regular price, but $6 is just about right for these cheap things. I recommend Navy and Khaki, they look the best looking if you are on a budget and need so-so shirts. Cadet Blue is the worst color. I would have rated these shirts three stars out of five, they are not that bad, especially for the price (this applies only to Navy and Khaki) but this 2 stars is to deal some justice out to those crap reviews.

3.0 out of 5 stars Runs huge, October 23, 2005
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The mediums run somewhere between extra large and large... After a few very hot washes it's kind of a large medium.
