5.0 out of 5 stars I really liked this CD! I think it is his best one.
I think this is a very good country album, as far as modern country music goes. There are plenty of ballads on here, which is typical for a Mark Wills album. The best of them are "What's Not To Love", "Places I've Never Been", and "What Love Is". Unlike other Mark Wills albums, there are good up-tempo songs on here, the best one by far...

1.0 out of 5 stars A sorry excuse for a country album
This is not a country music album and should be in the easy listening category along with all his other albums. You might like this CD if you're new to the country scene because it sounds a lot like the easy listening music you've heard. But as a country CD...NO WAY! Mark, you have a good voice but try choosing better music in the future.

I think this is a very good country album, as far as modern country music goes. There are plenty of ballads on here, which is typical for a Mark Wills album. The best of them are "What's Not To Love", "Places I've Never Been", and "What Love Is". Unlike other Mark Wills albums, there are good up-tempo songs on here, the best one by far being "Jacob's Ladder". I think this his best album of the three he has had thus far. I hope he can return to doing this pleasant mixture of ballads and up-tempo songs, instead of releasing ballad after ballad. I don't have a problem with ballads, but it shows more balance if there is a mix. By the way, keep up the good work Mark!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great CD, December 3, 2006
This review is from: Mark Wills (Audio CD)
This is a great debut CD for Mark Wills. I disagree with the other reviewer that said this is not country music. There is plenty of pedal steel and fiddle. Add Mark's great voice and you have great country music. I like every song on this CD. I especially like Jacob's Ladder and I Wonder If He Knows.
