I have found some wonderful recipes in this cookbook that are healthy and tasty. The Broccoli Pie was wonderful and so was the Southwestern Tomato Soup. My family does not eat enough vegtables and this is a great way to make them fun. The recipes are easy to follow and also do not contain ingredients that you can't find at your local supermakert. There are also pictures for almost every recipe of what the finished recipe should look like. I did see a few recipes with bacon wrapped around them, but every once and awhile it is nice to have a good ole piece of bacon to flavor things up! Besides, in moderation, you should treat yourself to something that yummy.

I'm not real big on veggies, but I know my body needs them, so I try to find tasty ways to fix a variety of them so I can be healthy. This book is the best I have found so far. I have lots of vegetarian cook books (and have found very good recipes in them), but this book trumps them all. It has easy to read information on seasonal produce, when to buy, how to choose the best produce, how to store it until use, and lots of really yummy recipes for a huge variety of produce. I certainly would recommend this book to anyone who wants a good book on veggies and how to enjoy them!

Love all the recipes. This is a great addition to my kitchen!! I have a family of picky eaters and kind find something everyone will love in this book.

Love this cookbook. All of the recipes use ingredients you have in your pantry or fridge, or can be easily located at the market. I love to cook but I don't like having to go on the hunt for obscure ingredients I have never heard of. I found this cookbook at my local library and liked it so much I bought it. Has a LOT of recipes to choose from and easy directions to follow. The only reason it doesn't get a perfect 5 is because a FEW of the recipes are a little bland. But that is nothing a little bit of spices can't fix :)

Truth be told, I'm a Cookbook junkie that will probably never seek help!

I have a special place in my heart for the Taste of Home series because they are always well written,complete recipes using farily common ingredients.

The book features stunning photography and what drew me to purchase it was the seasonal application to the Autumn Harvest. It answers the question, now that I grew it, what do I do with it?

It would make a lovely gift or addition to your cooking library.

If you are looking for a cookbook to use in-season farmer's market foods, keep looking. This cookbook features standard vegetables like corn and potatoes. It is organized by vegetable, not by season and is heavy on desserts. The recipes are not particularly healthy or original. As my husband said, "Wrap bacon and cheese around any vegetable and it will taste good." If that is what you are looking for, this cookbook is for you.

I have already tried 3 of the recipes in this book and everything came out delicious! My family really enjoyed it. I love to cook and can't wait to try more of the featured recipes.
