5.0 out of 5 stars Crucial marketing help for self-publishers!
As a self-publisher, I've read numerous books on self-publishing and marketing one's book. And all agree on one thing. It's challenging enough to write a book. But if you self-publish your book (and even if you find a publisher)you're only beginning the work. Publicizing, marketing is complicated but essential if your book is to sell. And nowadays, with the internet,...

1.0 out of 5 stars Most unimpressive
This book lacks any kind of depth. It is little more than a bunch of website addresses you could find yourself by surfing the Internet. The quality of the printing/ binding itself is instructive in that it stands as a sterling example of the sort of on demand digital print job that is absolutely terrible. I don't mean to be mean, but this just a horrible book.

And nowadays, with the internet, there are myriad ways you can wade into the wilderness of marketing your book--in other words, getting the word out so your book can sell, so you can at least pay for the printing, and hopefully make money! This book, by book promotion specialist Stacey Martin is filled with clear, intelligent, insider info. on how to market your book, in so many ways. Some pathways I'd never seen before. Very worthwhile. Nancy Rekow, editor/publisher of Minnie Rose Lovgreen's Recipe for Raising Chickens.

5.0 out of 5 stars worth it for any author who wants to promote a book, January 12, 2013

I found that this book, short and easy to read, was right on target for my book promotion strategy. Stacey Miller gives many websites to check out, most of which I had not heard of before. That is worth the book's price. Stacey draws on her years of experience as a publicist for a major publishing house.
