5.0 out of 5 stars Marketing "correctly" to seniors!
Mr. Klein demonstrates an excellent method of how to market to the senior population. The various tips on what to say, what not to say - either in person or in marketing material - does really make a difference, and this book shows exactly how to do it. A must read for those marketing financial services to seniors.

I was really disappointed with this book. It has none of the scripts or sample marketing materials promised. Klein wants to sell you a bunch of his other items: seminar kits, tapes, brochures to hand out, etc...all listed in his "appendix". The info given is so general it is of little use...you would have to spend money on his other items to really find out anything...

I was really disappointed with this book. It has none of the scripts or sample marketing materials promised. Klein wants to sell you a bunch of his other items: seminar kits, tapes, brochures to hand out, etc...all listed in his "appendix". The info given is so general it is of little use...you would have to spend money on his other items to really find out anything. Don't buy this if you are looking for a real guide to marketing to senior citizens...is is not here !!

The chapters on reaching the Senior Market to invite them
to a Seminar, I found quite helpful in planning for my next
seminar. Also the referral section was very informative.

I am relatively new to the business having just completed my first year in the business. I found Klein's book to be invaluable to help me focus my energies on the senior market. I have been able to implement a few of the ideas so far and have found it helpful. It's true...seniors do have the assets. If you are wanting to build a dynamic business then this book is a must read.

Larry Klein is something who knows seniors and what makes them tick! This book is full of practical ideas to help grow your business with seniors. Whether through seminars or one-on-one appointments, Larry's advice is sure to save some time and money by reducing your mistakes. Don't try to reinvent the wheel.

Although I've been working with seniors for the last 10 plus years I haven't focused my marketing efforts on them. After reading Larry's book I'm going to make the senior market my primary focus and I'm putting together a comprehensive marketing plan based on Larry's recommendations.

In this book the author uses an effective combination of research and personal experience to reveal the hows and whys of marketing services to the senior market. He makes this market accessible and understood. A real must for those attempting to market to this segment -- not just financial professionals! His insights were very helpful in marketing real estate services to seniors as well.

I have been following Klein's work for a few years. He is an absolute genious when it comes to marketing. The financial services industry confuses marketing and sales - they are different. I picked up some great ideas in this book, and I am looking forward to adding them to my practice.

Larry has worked successfully with seniors for so many years that he probably wrote this book in his sleep. As usual, he nails his topics as if he invented them. Anyone who wants to be successful working with seniors needs this book. This book saved me at least 9 months of research and preparation time. Why should I want to reinvent the wheel when Larry has already done it for me?! Thanks Larry!
