I believe that Stephen could have contributed more content and have some a few classic examples to illustrate Pinterest. I will now have to read other writings to get better acquainted with the subject.

I believe I paid $2 or less for this so I can't complain, though it should be free. This is good if you've never used Pinterest for your personal Pinboard. All in all its a good beginners book but I'm left hanging at the end like that's it? Now I need to buy another book that's more thorough. This book will be the deal breaker to your decision if you're on the line of joining interest for business purposes! Quick read, I guess I would suggest it seeing I highlighted about the whole book, I'm just disappointed it wasn't longer!

I love to read marketing books for ideas and tips. I haven't been using Pinterest for very long, so I was anxious to learn how best to use it to market myself and my work. This guide didn't teach me much that can't be gleaned by reading the FAQs on Pinterest itself and simply using the site for a few days. A lot of the book is taken up with the basics, like explaining what a "pin" is. It's like a book about Facebook spending a chapter on how to "like" something. Much of the book is self-explanatory.

The bulk of the book is filler: what Pinterest is, why you need it, how to fill out your profile, etc. There is very little on actually using it for marketing. A more accurate title for the book would be "What Is Pinterest?"

What I would like would be actionable ideas on how to use Pinterest in interesting ways. The book says, "Use pinboards creatively to show people what you're about." Okay, sure. What's missing is some examples of these creative uses. Who is using Pinterest in a unique or creative way that I could look to as an example? Any useful marketing book should have ideas for marketing. The only real suggestion here is "join Pinterest."

Some typos got in the way ("Be weary" instead of "be wary", for example), but the text is cleaner than a lot of slapdash e-books.

Save your money, and read the Pinterest FAQ and maybe a blog post or two.

I loved this book. Even though it was fairly basic, I still learned a few new things about Pinterest I didn't already know. It's perfect for beginners, and I would recommend buying this book as your first book about Pinterest BEFORE you purchase any others! You will get all you need to know right here.

This guide does a great job of going over Pinterest from beginning to end and giving you the details you will need to succeed. If you are new to Pinterest, or even if you have been on Pinterest for awhile, this is a great guide and will help increase your knowledge of this new social media giant.

If it were not for Chapters 7 & 8, I would have given this only 2*'s. It really is a very basic book with much of the information available for free on line. Chapter 4 (Building your Pinterest toolkit also made this book worth the price.

I did however receive this book when it was on a KDP free day.

If you don't want to pay the money for this book, google about Pinterest, or check out Pinterest FAQ. You'll learn most of the same things.
