Bob has unlocked the Kingdom understanding of Christians in the Market place through his book. His testimonies and his own journey have encouraged my heart. It's refreshing and rare to find a great word of encouragement to the everyday business leader, while holding to a very biblical uncompromising love for Jesus. He combined encouragement, exhortation and comfort in his book. Word of warning: You will probably want to buy allot more and hand them out to your friends, . My friend and I ended up passing out over 100 copies of "Market Place Christianity" books to many of my business associates and friends at church. It's a very timely word for many in the market place today!

Bob Fraser has written a # 1 must read for for All Church and Business leaders. Chapter 7 hit the mark for better business by design. This humble servant leader not only gives us permission but shows us the way in working for the Lord. Your purpose will greatly be impacted and defined when you read this book.

Like many others, I had heard and read much on Christians in business and the marketplace but it never seemed to be accompanied with any real and practical application. In this book, Bob Frazer has been able to articulate the reality of what God is really doing in every area of the marketplace beyond a conceptual viewpoint. He has tasted it, breathed it and lived it. I found it of great encouragement to push into God and pursue what He has placed within me. Great to find a likeminded one. If you are serious about God and your/His business you better grab hold of this book.

This is one of those must read books for modern christians. It addresses the problem christians have today on how do we serve God and still support ourselves in todays competitive marketplace while still feeling good about ourselves. All to often we feel the only way to serve our Lord is in the ministary; which this book shows us is incorrect. We can in most cases be of greater service to God by working in the economic marketplace and this book shows us how. You just gotta read it.

Fraser has an important story to tell and message to share about the importance of marketplace Christianity. The book is a helpful combination of teaching, encouragement, stories, and rallying cry for not just the validity but importance of the calling that so many Christians have to serve God and serve others in the marketplace. It's not just for business owners, but that group would be particularly interested in this book with its practical ideas for running a business with God's purposes in mind. The only downside to the book was a feeling it was a bit disorganized and it had several typos (including two on the front cover). Most will find the authors passion more than makes up for this. Those interested in marketplace Christianity would also do well to check out Anointed for Business and/or Why Work? Called to Make a Difference.

Like others, I've read most of the books that fit the description of marketplace christianity or ministry in the marketplace. My journey began in 1995 and Dennis Peacocke's book "Doing Business God's Way" was the first. Without a doubt this is the best of all the books I've read on this topic. This one is written by someone who has actually done it, lived it, etc, and struggled w/ all the same thoughts and problems those of us face who are not employed by 501(c)3 corporations. The chapter which deals w/ money is the absolutely the best explanation I have ever read. It would make sense to any teenager and any employee. I highly recommend this book. It is my new give-away book to business friends, and my family is going to tackle it together, it's that important/beneficial to me.

It is what I expected and more. Offers a perspective on Christianity which has been often forgotten of. Brings a lot of points to think about.

I've read 65 or 70 books on the Christian marketplace movement in the last 8 years. This is the first book (on this topic) I've read that opened my eyes and heart at the same time, showing me what God is doing in the marketplace and how He wants to use me as a piece of His glorified puzzle. I recommend you buy this book, read it and then order a case to pass out to your friends. That's what I did!

This book provides serious insight as to how mature and growing christians can gain the favor of God and man!
