Rock-solid slingshot,

I'm a big fan of the Marksman wrist-rocket, which is by far the best slingshot I've ever owned. But, I wanted something a little easier to put in a pocket. I tried a few, but I was disappointed everytime. So, I decided to go back to a Marksman. This slingshot is the same as the Classic II, but it comes with some kind of "high-performance" bands. Don't even bother with the bands. As soon as you get the slingshot, switch them out. I would have gone with the Classic II, but this one just happened to be cheaper at the time. Now that I have new bands, this slingshot has become my favorite. I still prefer Marksman's wrist-rocket when it comes to accuracy. But, when I need a slingshot that fits in a pocket for a day-hike, this is what I carry. In my opinion, Marksmamn currently makes the most durable, accurate, space-efficient slingshots on the market.

Works great but I do not use it extensively or very hard but it shoots well and can shoot over a hundred yards, I just use it for fun and shoot marbles with it but it could be a good nonlethal defensive weapon in a pinch.

sturdy but magnet limit ammo choice,

This sling shot seems to be well built. We have not owned them long but the handle grip seems study enough to survive the abuse that kids will not doubt subject it to. My only complaint is that the magnet that is sewn into the leather pocket makes it difficult to grip non-iron ammo. Rather than having to spend money on consumables for a sling shot, I was hoping to use acorns, small rocks, and anything else you would find along the way as ammo. Gripping the ammo is not difficult for me but my kids find it difficult enough that they have quickly lost interest in using their sling shots. As an experiment, I may try to remove the magnet.

My husband is enjoying this slingshot. This summer we were plagued by naughty squirrels committed to plundering our fig tree! The slingshot + pebbles/acorns/small shells helped them to realize the error of their ways.
