5.0 out of 5 stars This one is the best.
This slingshot is definitely the best folding slingshot on the market. I have some Barnetts (Black Widow and Diablo) and some Trumarks but believe me : this Marksman folding slingshot is the best performing and has the best quality. DO NOT let the low price fool you. This is the one you want.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not impressed
Slingshot came late, handle is cracked, the bands aren't even. It prob works fine but just expected a nicer product coming out of the packaging. For the price Im not too upset about these issues as i can tape the handle up and change the bands out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, August 23, 2010
This review is from: Marksman Folding Slingshot (Misc.)
I had this sling shot for at least four years, and it was wonderful. It shoots great at long distances as well as short. Mine has a magnet on it which is great for shooting beebies(It helped hold them in place). My rubber band did break after four years but I was still happy with it. It is also pretty durable. I would reckemend this to anyone, I am going to buy another one soon.

5.0 out of 5 stars best on the market, November 13, 2010
This review is from: Marksman Folding Slingshot (Misc.)
I've been shooting for about 2 years. This was the first slingshot I bought. Since then, I've bought 4 more, all from major manufacturers. But, I keep coming back to this one. It's accurate, comfortable, and bomb-proof. The bands are fairly to change once you get the hang of it. They're also so cheap! I got mine for $6.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great wrist rocket., October 10, 2010

I purchased this slingshot to brush up on the skill and to add to a BOB. Last week it came in handy when a large possum started sniffing around the door. Although I would have preferred a >1000fps air rifle (can't discharge a firearm within city limits), this did the job in scaring the possum away from house. Great price, and does what it was intended to do.

These are Fun!! I just Had to get two of them so my bro n I could shoot eachother. But no, not with the regular ammo for these babies.. we used very nicely done paper balls! They work good enough to feel a lil smack in ur arm or face! The only downside is d leather thing to load, twists n turns, which makes it hard to reload fast, but they're still Good!

I remember having an original "wrist rocket" slingshot as a kid; amazing how much superior that bit of bent aluminum tubing, foam neoprene and rubber bands was in comparison to the ol' "Dennis the Menace" Y-form slingshot. This is all that and more: for about the same price in today's dilapidated and inflated dollars as that old wrist-rocket, I can buy this folding wonder, made of far stronger steel tube and folding into a much more packable/portable configuration!

I was skeptical that the vinyl wrist pad would be as comfortable or secure as the foam-over-aluminum of the wrist-rocket, but it works wonderfully well and adds to the compact size when folded.

Buy the magnum bands found here:
[...]
and immediately replace the stock units, as the OEM surgical tubing bands are both prone to rapid degradation from environmental exposure* and kinda wimpy besides.

Can't beat this for value delivered!

*- All natural rubber products are averse to sunlight & if in urban areas, prone to smog rot. The magnum bands I directed you to are black instead of translucent yellow because they've got carbon black incorporated into them to extend their useful life, just like car tires. You don't seen anyone rolling around on gumwall car tires, do you? Only idiot cyclists do that, & that's because they're replacing their bicycle tires on an annual basis because the tread wears out faster then the tire sidewalls can fail.

1.0 out of 5 stars Broke the first day., December 31, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Marksman Folding Slingshot (Misc.)
Walmart sells only one wrist rocket and it's less than 8 bucks. I didn't want to buy junk so I ordered this one from Amazon for about twice the price. It didn't even last one day, the leather was rotten junk and broke. It literally pulls apart into fibers.

It wasn't worth the hassle of returning, I ended up buying the 8 dollar version from walmart and the $3 repair kit from walmart to get this one working again. The walmart version is not a stretchy but the leather is good quality and it has survived several days of use so far.

I would not buy this product again.

Seller, if you read this, find a more reliable manufacturer.
