4.0 out of 5 stars expected, June 11, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Marmalade Boy, Vol. 7 (Paperback)
You might remember from book 6 and the other previous books that Yu and Miki are together after all they've been through. In this book, Yu continues his search for his real father. In his search, he found a bit of information that he doesn't like. this forces him and Miki to break up and the whole time Miki doesn't know what's going on. Miki moves on with her life without Yu and a new Miki comes out of the book.

Marmalade Boy is a great book that can be very addictive. I advise that you do not read this one until you read the first 6:). In this book Yuu and Miki who have had a rough ride in their relationship break up. Yuu thinks that Miki is.....and he breaks up w/out telling her why.Miki finds consolation in her fellow worker and starts all over again. While Yuu sees that he made a mistake then...........Well you go ahead and fill in the blanks when you read the book

5.0 out of 5 stars Marmalade boy, August 26, 2003

This is probably my favorite of all the m.b books. But that's because I really liked the Nachan/Meiko relationship.
Things get a little heavier as roadblocks pop up that keep Miki and Yuu apart. They break up and Yuu leaves for college without telling Miki why, he just says he doesn't love her anymore. Will they be forced apart forever? *gasp!* Well, probably not but it's still a great manga.

I didn't really like this kind of book before but this is actually the first graphic novel that got my hair stand up. I can't believe that this happy couple might actually be half brother and sister. Well I won't give you the whole detail, just check it out I guarantee that you'll like it.
