The Marmot Aeolos is a high quality tent, but it comes with a hefty price tag. I was able to find it on clearance for about $100 - an amazing deal. The bent-pole design adds some extra space inside the tent and it felt fairly roomy between me (6'0", 190lbs.) and a friend (6'5", 205lbs.). I really like the double door design so that you can enter and exit the tent from your own side without too much disturbance to your tent mate. The tent itself sets up quick and packs down fairly quickly too. Even when stuffing into a compression stuff sack, the whole process takes just 10 minutes. The fly is the most cumbersome element of the tent and you have to be sure you're putting it on correctly (read the instructions carefully). Once positioned, the fly provides two nice vestibules and is adequate for moderate rain, snow or sleet. The design of the straps which secure the fly doors open could use improvement. You can get them to work decently if you roll the fly door up just below the strap on the fly, but they tend to unroll a bit (minor point overall). I haven't had it in extremely windy conditions, so I cannot comment on its performance there, but I suspect it would do reasonably well up to a point. I have used it in temperatures down to about 25 degrees F and it was comfortable in my +15 sleeping bag. The large amount of mesh ensures heat loss - definitely not a winter tent (not advertised as such). Overall, I highly recommend the Aeolos and it has performed well from Utah to Northern California.
