Before buying this sleeping I researched for ages and could not decide between this one and the Marmot Hydrogen Down bag. Same heat rating, just 900 vs 800 loft down making a slight weight difference. Initially I was going to go for the Hydrogen bag as I could not justify to myself the price difference between them just for a few grams in weight savings. But I found a Plasma at an excellent price (about $10 more than the Hydrogen) on Amazon. It is so light and packs up uber small. It is like sleeping in a cloud and I always have the best nights sleep. This is probably the only bag I need. On hot nights I just unzip and on the really cold trips I would just use a thermo sleeping bag liner. Mostly used in New Zealand's South Island where even in the summer the temperature can vary from 0ºC to over 30ºC. I love it for its flexibility and lightweight. I ended up buying the Hydrogen one for my husband (him being stronger means he is less likely to notice the tiny weight difference). He is also very happy with his bag. The only minus is the carry bag is a bit on the basic side and we ended up replacing with a combination dry bag/compression sack.

I purchased the long version of this bag a month ago. I'm 6'2" 185 pounds and have plenty of space to move around in the bag, but not too much extra space to heat. I've only spent 5 nights in the bag so far, but love it! It is super light weight, sheds a little moisture, and has been really warm. Typically I sleep in a TNF Cats Meow bag, but decided to try this to trim pack weight. Although this bag is rated 10 degrees cooler, I have slept warmer compared with the other bag. I would absolutely recommend this bag to anyone interested in cutting weight off your pack, without sacrificing warmth or comfort.

I used this sleeping bag for couple night in yard. and it's super light + super warm.

However you might need Tarp(or shelter) and waterproof ground sheet(or tarp). and you still need something block from ground. I have superlight cot and thin mat. those blocked cold from ground. and make more relax and warm. I used inside small 4 season tent for two. use low high cot + mat and this sleeping bag. It was perfect.

sleeping bag has neck wind stopper and tight up around your neck and face side. it helps me breath and keep warm inside.

But it's not perfect for camp without tent or shelter in rain.

otherwise, it's Super light. awesome work in keep warm inside. and dry up easy. when put in bag, it's surprise small pack.
awesome for hiking, backpacking, auto(or bike or cycle) camping.
