This review is from: Marmot Sharp Point Softshell Jacket - Men's (Apparel)
I have to admit, I purchased this jacket mostly for the look. It is a very "sharp" soft shell jacket that fits very nice. I tend to wear jackets if they are nice looking and keeps my warm. the great thing about this jacket was the price. I got it on the discount rack at REI for $139.00 . Last one left in the full black color and small. I actually owned the same jacket in the beige color in medium size but returned it because I didn't love the color or the fit as much... the black small size actually fits a little snug around my chest but is a better length overall. Plus the black is the best color for this jacket... And you can't beat the price... originally $250 retail.
Pros:
- Design, Looks and Style
- Build Quality
- Wind resistant
- Water resistant
- Nice inner lining feel ( My Arc'Teryx Sigma AR Jacket was scratchy and seemed unfinished on the inner lining.)
- Clearance PRICE!
Con
- Little snug in the chest, but it should make me drop a few pounds.
- Not as packable as the Arc'Teryx
- Could use one extra pocket.
LOVE this jacket... great for below 50 and above 30 degree weather with some wind. Great everyday jacket in LA.
