Maroc is a good read,
By Dr Agatha Christie (Australia) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Maroc (Paperback)
It took me a little while to pick up the thread as the story weaves back & forth in time, but that could have been just the head space I was in at the time. Maroc was unforgettable for one incident that happens toward the end - absolutely chilled me to the core - but you're going to have to read it; I'm not telling. And I'll forever wonder whether it's true. Am waiting for Easterman's next book.

Nearly back to his best,

It's often the case with authors that their first few pieces are very good and then they slowly deteriorate. This was true about Daniel Easterman for the large part. Last Assasin is is one of my alltime favourite books, and there are a few shockers in the middle of his catalogue, but Maroq is great! It's really two stories in one, and though they never really come together well the ending is OK. What concerns me is that Mr Easterman has now vanished. I am waiting with baited breath that he may return. If you like Dan Brown you may well like some of Easterman's better works. Buy one! |
