Great Maps!
These National Geographic maps are some of the best hiking and exploring maps available for the backcountry of Colorado. They are made of a sturdy material that seems to be pretty waterproof, and the level of detail and information provided is excellent. Maybe a bit pricey, but well worth the cost, in my opinion.

Older edition
Please note this is the 2005 edition and not the newer 2009 currently available. A lot of things can change with Rocky Mtn trails in 4 years. I'd recommend getting Sky Terrain's Aspen, Crested Butte & Maroon Bells Trail Map 3rd Edition, May 10th 2010, which includes mileage between intersection points as well.

This map was adequete but would have been better if it had milages from point to point. It was good enough to get us through the Four Pass Loop.
