Wow! I originally had these glasses on my wedding registry in 2003, but only received 4 of the 12 I requested. We never bought the rest of the set since we had no where to keep them (in a tiny apartment) and money was tight.

Now, we moved a few times since 2003 and recently found them in a box in a storage cabinet and really want to use them for entertaining but needed to get 8 more to match our china servings. Not only did Amazon have them available, 8 years since my wedding and 6 years past the production date, but the price was the same (but free shipping!) as they cost back in 2003! Most "replacement" sites that stock out of production china or glassware try to gouge you if you break and need to replace a piece.

These glasses come packed individually (the 4 I already owned weren't packed individually, they were in a "4-pack" box) which I think is better considering they are shipping them and the extra packaging helps protect the individual glasses. They were padded well, and there weren't any breaks or damages. I also ordered 8 white wine of the same set from Amazon, and same story - all arrived perfectly.

FYI - for those that are afraid of ordering crystal or china over the web - most brick and mortar stores that sell these items for wedding registries wind up shipping those items for out of town guests directly to the bride and groom, so shipping these fragile items is actually pretty commonplace, and they are packed by the manufacturers to survive a typical delivery experience.

I was leery about buying used crystal but was very pleasantly surprised. No visible flaws on the glasses and exactly what I was hoping to find at a great price.

The style of glassware is discontinued and I had a bit of a time trying to find one for my set when 1 of my glasses broke.

They shipping was fast and everything was in tact, with no damage (which I always worry about when I order fragile items).

Hopefully another glass won't break, but if it does I'll order from these guys again.
