I'm a huge trance fan and when i heard about this latest offering by ATB i wasn't exactly jumping out of my seat with excitment, i just thought it was going to be cheese. But when i heard it i was very surprised by the result. It is a very well produced song, not expected by Andre. (tho his other tunes Intencity and Extacy are also very good) The Original is a percussion-driven affair that has some very odd vocals, but fit nicely. Now on with the respected trance producer Alex Morph, his remix is THE gem of the CD single. Nicely place percusion, hi-hats, melody everything is superb. The melody he adds to the song is incredible. His structure is different but well thought out. I give this song 5/5 with the Alex MORPH Synthetic Empire Rmx's being the highlight, buy now!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Marrakech [12"/CD] ~ ATB, June 6, 2005

Marrakech is a such an amazing track that I do not even know how I can do it justice. Being an early fan of electronic music, i.e., Depeche Mode, Visage and the like, listening to trance and ATB was a natural step. Marrakech has managed just like with the rush comes to hand pick the sounds for the track and for anyone making music and especially making and writing electronic music this is vital since the wrong keyboard sound can totally ruin the track. I also love the awesome use of the vocoder and the vocal treatments and this is what trance music should truly sound like. Well done ATB indeed.
