I purchased this book after following the author's blog for some time. I love how she incorporates her family's history, information about the dishes, poetry, and recipes into one simple book. Also, the variety of delicious recipes are easy to follow and incorporate ingredients that are familiar and easily found in the US. If you are new to Moroccan cooking this is definitely a great primer!

I really love this book for making Moroccan food accessible. I've been visiting Morocco every year for the past couple of years and the food is fantastic. Whenever I tried to find restaurants here in NY serving Moroccan food, I always ends up being disappointed because it's not remotely as good. I admit I was intimidated to try making it myself at first, but when I tried some recipes on Nisrine's blog and I saw how easy it was, I decided to buy her book. Some of the recipes can be time consuming but they're simple to follow. In addition all of the ingredients are easily found in the supermarket. The dishes I've made so far have turned out just like the ones I've eaten in Morocco, either at my friends' homes or in restaurants. I highly recommend this book for anyone interested in Moroccan cooking!

Scrumptious and tempting altogether and makes me miss Moroccan cuisine very much.

I won this beautiful cookbook from Nisrine (and she happens to be the very talented author who wrote the book....how special is that). The book is called "Marrakesh Express...Recipes and Memories of Morocco". Nisrine uses fresh ingredients and herbs to create her special recipes of Mediterranean/Moroccan cooking. It is beautifully done.....look at the cover....so pretty! Her blog is [...]! I love how she includes her family's history and photo's!....very nice and thank you so much Nisrine! Love the "Coffee Walnut Macaroons" recipe....heaven with a cup of tea!....please check this cookbook out...you will not be disappointed!
