This is a beautiful love story that has many layers to it. The title and cover of the book make it seem a bit simple but it is not. If you haven't read any of Georgia Bockoven paperbacks you might want to start with t his one. It is a complex love story of sisters, babies, family and of course a man who doesn't know what hit him when he meets Chris and Kevin, the son he never knew he had. This moving portrayal of how love can be lost and regained through sacrifice and time will leave you searching on netflix for the movie version! Read the book first!!

Nothing like the movie and far better. Goes off usual formula for romance novels in ways that keep the reader wondering what will happen next. Am looking forward to reading lots more of Georgia Bockoven. Wish more were on kindle.

A Nice Love Story,

I loved the TV movie "A Marriage of Convenience" starring James Brolin and Jane Seymour, so I was excited when I saw that this was the book that the movie was based on. I enjoyed this book very much. I really wanted to give it 5 stars instead of 4, and I almost did, but I enjoyed the movie more than the book. To me, the beginning was a little slow, and there were often way too many useless details (i.e., going on for pages at a time about Mason's business got boring). However, I highly recommend this book if you have watched and enjoyed the movie!
