About the Author

Dr. Bryce Kaye received his B.A. in psychology from Columbia University and his Ph.D. in psychology and personality from the University of Illinois. His earliest research focused on how the elimination of freedom causes psychological reactance, consistent with his lifelong interest in human boundary interactions. In the course of his career, he has evolved different forms of treatment based on psychophysiology and his experience with thousands of couples.

"The Marriage First Aid Kit" is a relationship guide to help readers better grasp their partner's problems and gain a better understanding of them to make for a clear and more enlightened relationship. With plenty of exercises to strengthen the bonds of marriage, Dr. Bryce Kaye comes with readers with no shortage of wisdom. "The Marriage First Aid Kit" should be considered for any couple who thinks things may get rocky.

This relationship book produced more AHA moments than any other I have read. If you are in a relationship where one partner seems to be controlling and the other passive, this book will explain why that is so destructive over time, and some things you can do about it. You will learn about the importance of intimacy and autonomy in your relationship and how to get both back in balance. This book will help you understand why you engage in dysfunctional behaviours and help you make changes. You will learn how to create intimacy, and how you may not have been creating intimacy where thought you were.
