Whiny, spoiled heroine,

This review is from: Marriage, Manhattan Style (Silhouette Desire) (Kindle Edition)
My main problem was the heroine- she defines herself entirely through her husband. She even acknowledges it, but does nothing to change it. Instead she whines. My God that woman whines a lot. The hero was your standard cookie-cutter romance novel billionaire alpha male. He was remarkably stupid, since he decided to tell a completely pointless lie when the truth would have been way less trouble in the short and long run, but other than that and his complete lack of any sense of humour (a trait shared by the heroine) there wasn't much to complain about. I thought the premise of the book was really interesting, but the heroine never truly evolved. If she had ACTUALLY decided to build on herself and find a personality/identity not completely defined by her husband I could have gotten behind this book, but she never did.
