This movie gave me great delight as I really enjoyed looking back at the good clean style of movie made back in this era. The actors are great - especially Deborah Kerr - and I especially liked the interaction between the friendship of the characaters played by Frank and Dean. I wish there were more movies made along these lines for todays audience, which suits us baby boomers. All the sex, violence and action of today's films is unnecessary. Suggestiveness gives room for the imagination. I fully recommend this movie.

This is a great movie. If you love Frank Sinatra, you'll love this one. It is a light hearted comedy, with all the charm and pizazz that Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin give the screen. You will smile all from beginning to end at all the confusion that erupts. It is must see for all the fans of 1950s and 1060s movies.

I thought this was a lot of fun, a superb Sinatra movie that was well done. Other favorites are "Some Came Running" and "High Society". What I liked best about this is the turnabout plays and scripting, plus a great time capsule of earlier times... Dean Martin did a terrific job too as the casual playboy, who trades places with Sinatra's married life. Great fun.

Once again, Frank and Dean hold their audience in contempt with this lackadaisical romantic farce. Except for Deborah Kerr and Cesar Romero, no one bothers to show up. Another low point in the Sinatra-Martin filmography — worse than "Ocean's 11" and "Sergeants 3."

This movie is a fun lesson in how to handle the marriage itch. Wife's discontentment for the boring life she has leads her to seek her value and identity outside her marriage - with her husband's business partner and friend. Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin head up the game and in the end, the wife learns the value of love! Layers are also in the movie like a daughter that wants to grow up quickly, her friend who wants to marry Frank, and a crooked Ceasar Romero looking at every turn to make a buck.

I liked the movie for the shear nostalgic value. Mid century home interiors, fashionable expressions and art, drinking and bantering back and forth - like the hay day it was produced in. This is a fun movie and is clean but flirty here and there. We've watched it several times and I never tire of the entertainment value! Great fun! I didn't do a five star on it because it felt a bit short and abrupt at the end. Like they realized they had only five feet of film left and ended it without perfect closer.

I really enjoyed this movie, not for it's cinematic excellence, but just because it was campy and silly fun. I laughed a lot and LOVED looking at Deborah Kerr's wardrobe. For the first time, I actually paid attention to Dean Martin who was absolutely hysterical in this movie. It was obvious that he and Frank were having some fun. Deborah Kerr was absolutely gorgeous, as usual, and seemed to be having just as much fun as the fellas. I loved seeing a young Nancy Sinatra do a good job with her part as well as the boy who played her brother. That kid had some great lines. Hermione Baddeley nearly stole the whole movie as the mother-in-law. She had some very funny sight gags.

All in all, this movie was good, clean fun.

This is a good movie that has elements found in movies released during the 1965 period. The movie reminds one to re-consider their own views and ideas on marriage. Many movies produced before 1970 promote marriage rather than being a bachelor. I suppose many people consider marriage to be the norm in our society.
