1.0 out of 5 stars UGH! Walked out of the Class
I took several of Kay Arthur's classes on various books from the Bible but advise you...don't waste your time with this course. After several sessions, I walked out of class due to the lies given on the subject. After speaking with several other Christian counselors, it is obvious Kay is still in need of healing, as portrayed by the contents of this course. There are...

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must For Married Couples, April 10, 2001
By A Customer
Using the precepts of God's Word, this book will give you the tools to have the loving and fulfilling marriage that God designed. This book acts as a guide to show you what God has to say about marriage, and what a truly beautiful covenant God meant it to be. As a newlywed I am so thankful for this book and have seen God use it to change the hearts of some "oldlyweds" and restore marriages. I highly recommend the study guide. This is a great present for engaged couples. In fact I've already bought two for engaged friends!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Marriage without Regrets, June 7, 2001
This book is absolutely wonderful! Honest, very direct guidance to restoring/reviving your marriage under God's word. Kay's unique way of intertwining personal stories and biblical references make for very interesting and educational reading. I have to share this book with all of the couples I know just entering the commitment of marriage! I especially liked the section on family and the raising of children. Having recently left my career to stay at home with my children, her biblical references confirmed the reasons I did so and brought me an even greater peace about my decision. Get ready to hear the truth about what GOD says about marriage, family, and commitment!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Biblical Marriage book on the market, July 26, 2008
This review is from: A Marriage Without Regrets: No matter where you are or where you've been, you can have... (Paperback)
Out of all the things my husband and I have learned in our 14 years of making a successful marriage, almost all of them are found in this book. It is also one of the most biblically based marriage books we have ever found. We give it at every wedding with $10 bill book marks in all our favorite places. This is not about a perfect marriage or one with no mistakes but how to make it as godly as possible. Covers kids, money, sex, communication, roles, pretty much everything.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent, Practical Advice Built on the Strength of God's Word!, January 3, 2008

This review is from: A Marriage Without Regrets: No matter where you are or where you've been, you can have... (Paperback)
In her book titled, "Marriage Without Regrets" Kay Arthur takes a look at marriage from God's perspective. The great thing about this volume is that it is not based on the author's own thoughts, but on what scripture says about marriage. Arthur shares many of her own experiences and the experiences of her readers to provide real life application and example of the material she covers. This book is well written and well researched. God used this book as the catalyst to help me see that I needed to change my priorities, and my attitude toward my wife and my marriage. I wholeheartedly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Saved my life and my marriage., December 29, 2006

I originally took this book as a study class and it was AMAZING. I was truly convicted that I wasn't being the wife that God called me to be and that was ALL I could do to save and restore my marriage. This book makes you say, "why didn't I already KNOW that??!!" So honest and forthcoming plain old TRUTH. Sometimes the truth hurts and is hard to swallow, but once we put our human pride aside we are able to move forward in faith...and that's when God can work miracles.

Pride will be put away and your marriage will thrive!

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT book on building a solid marriage, September 2, 2006
By
Classic Kay Arthur! No-nonsense Biblical wisdom on how to build and maintain a marriage that is both satisfying and God honoring. Kay's insights have been very helpful to my wife and I, and we give this book to couples as an engagement / wedding gift. This book is also a great tool for those who may already have some regrets in their marriage, and need help in overcoming obstacles that are preventing their marriage from being all that it can be. Personal reflection and lots of Biblical wisdom make this a great read, with lasting value.

This is an excellent book for a marriage couple to read. The support group that I coordinate has read this book and we found it very interesting. This book would be ideal for a book club. Arthur shares practical and honest tips as to how you can have a marriage without regrets. I would recommend this book to every married couple or someone who is planning on getting married.

This is a wonderful book for any couple needing a bit of direction in their marriage. I found it to be written more towards the ladies, but I believe a couple reading this together would still be blessed. I recommend it.
