Book Description

He woke up to discover two days of his life completely gone.

Workaholic Boston blueblood Dean has made it his life's goal to be the opposite of his irresponsible, womanizing father.

But Dean discovers that while in a hypnotic trance he'd acted exactly like his father, travelling to Las Vegas where he'd wooed and wed some sexy, airhead dancer.

Now, Kelly may be sexy, but she's no airhead. She knows the cold and puritanical man who claims to be her husband is not the man she'd married. But she suspects the warm and tender man she does love is buried somewhere deep inside. And she's determined to find him...

4.0 out of 5 stars Not just another Vegas wedding January 22, 2012
By April
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Any Kindle owner knows that the majority of the freebie and cheap reads are usually poorly edited, marginally written, or not worth finishing. Marriage by Mistake was a delightful surprise.

The story is not your usual drunken marriage in Vegas followed by true love in three days or less. It is not filled with typos, spelling errors, or poor grammar.

The characters are nicely fleshed out, both plot and sub-plots are easy to follow, and on top of all that, the Happily Ever After was no quick let down.

Kudos to the author and if you haven't read it - do so!

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok read.... January 26, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
I decided to read the book after reading a review stating this was not your typical married in Vegas fall in love in 3 days book. Well.....it sort of is. Kelly a Vegas dancer finds her self abandoned by her new husband after being married for less than a day. She decides to go look for him to see if there is some good explanation, after all, they are in love! They have known each other 2 days and she just doesn't understand what could have happened, he said he loved her! After finding him and seeing how he proclaims not to know her, she decides to go back to her life. Dean is a very rich, serious and always wanting t be in control kind of guy, Love?? Not for him. After seeing the hot women who says she's his wife, he thinks its a plot from his cousin, she is obviously an actress..... he does not remember the past 2 days , so what if?......... After investigating the situation and finding it was true after all, he decided to go look for her and bring her back. They decided on a 2 month trial to see if it works.
From here on is all about Kelly loving the man she thought he was and Dean having the hots for her all the time but trying not to give up to it. After he gives in to it, its all about waiting for it to fade.......I didn't like his character much, he was very insensitive at times and talked as if she were an actual airhead even though there was no signs of this. At one time he says (after some weeks together) " she's not sharp, sophisticated or demanding...she was innocent, generous and uncomplaining "..... I'm not sure I would like a man who thinks I'm not sharp..... The story drags too much, there's too much thinking going on and very repetitive. Thankfully there are additional characters and even a secondary story between Troy ( the cousin) and a mutual friend of him and Dean. I actually quite enjoyed their story, if not for it I think I would have been bored by mid point.

For me it was just an OK read.

1.0 out of 5 stars Mistake alright. January 31, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Obviously I didn't read the same book that most of the other reviewers read. It was supposed to be sharp and funny. I didn't find either of those qualities in this book. What I found was a totally obnoxious jerk who seemed to hold himself way above and far superior his new bride. And our author must have a thing for expressive eyebrows. His eyebrows raised, lowered, slammed down, furrowed, etc. etc. etc.... To be truthful, I actually read about 60% of this awful book. I skimmed through the other 40%. None of the characters had any sense, and only one had any decency. On that note, I will close saying that I do not recommend this book to anyone, even my sister who is a hopeless romantic.
