5.0 out of 5 stars Married To The Game...5 Stars!!
Chunichi did a good job on this sequel to "A Gangster's Girl". There was so much drama in this book I finished it in a day and a half. Ceazia is back and after Vegas' brother Snake or any other man who will keep her in designer labels. But until she gets that perfect "trick" she'll have to shake what her mama gave her for some cash. Snake's nephew Duke is also all wrapped...

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok what's next?
It seems that Ceazia's plot proved successful but I smell a part 3 coming on. This ended to abrupt and I felt that there should be more of a storyline about BJ and possible revenge??? I guess I'm petty but $100,000.00 doesn't seem like enough to get away with and be able to live off of. What will Ceazia do next? More details please.

Ceazia is back and after Vegas' brother Snake or any other man who will keep her in designer labels. But until she gets that perfect "trick" she'll have to shake what her mama gave her for some cash. Snake's nephew Duke is also all wrapped up in the drama of Ceazia and Snake, and many other people as well. This is a story of revenge, betrayal and murder,Ceazia style. This is a good read you will not put down until you finish. I wonder if there will be a part 3.....

4.0 out of 5 stars 'Til Death Did She Part....., December 9, 2005
This review is from: Married to the Game (Paperback)
Chunichi's sequel to a "Gangsta's Girl" was just as enjoyable as "Gangsta Girl". In the prequel, she has you feeling sad for Ceazia, the main female character - but the in this book, you'll know for sure not to jump to conclusions about her.

It was a fast, easy read - pages filled with drama, suspense, consequences, love, lust and betrayal.

Snake (Vegas' brother; also Ceazia's former lover) was almost successful in vindicating his brother; only to have tragedy blindside him in his revenge.

The only disappointment was the ending of the novel -will there be a book "three"???? Come on, Chunichi - it's time to wrap this one up and move on...you can do it.

4.0 out of 5 stars CHUNICHI STAND UP THIS BOOK IS HOOD NO LIE, November 27, 2005
This review is from: Married to the Game (Paperback)
CEAZIA DEVEAREUX IS THE REALEST OF THEM ALL AND SHE A FOOL WHEN IT COME TO MEN.
This was definitely a page-turner from beginning to end. Ms. CHUNICHI did an excellent job. The drama was so thick that I found myself caught up in the lives of the main characters from the get go. This book was about what goes around comes around. Each of the main characters taught a lesson about the choices we make and the repercussions that follow. You may be getting yours now, but, in the end, there is a price to pay. Although I enjoyed the action-packed, drama-filled pages,This is one book I'm sure will be a big hit with the hip-hop generation.
THIS A MUST READ SO GO GET IT

3.0 out of 5 stars I enjoyed it, August 3, 2006

This was a very quick read for me and that means that I enjoyed this book. Almost a little "too fast" though. Lots and lots of drama, sex, no good brothas, and scheming sistas!

I read this book in 2 days! This book was full of suspense and best believe Ceazia will be back, she has to be. I loved the way the book ended and I was mad because there was nothing else after the last page.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the time or money, April 15, 2006
This review is from: Married to the Game (Paperback)
This book was bad. Not good at all and very over-rated! Chunichi's stories are so short. I want my $15 worth and her books are not. Do not waste your money. Find a better book because this one was not all that good. It is one of the worst street books i've read. Books like this is the reason why street books aren't respected.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thank you for keeping it gangsta!!!, January 31, 2006
This review is from: Married to the Game (Paperback)
Married to the Game was excellent!! I read A Gangster's Girl and I have to say, that I really felt bad when Vegas began to lose his faithfullness to C. But C took the cake in Married to the Game. I guess all that time in jail and Vegas being disloyal really changed her.

Please get that third book out. I will continue to be a faithful reader of your work Chunichi!! Thank you for giving me so much drama. You are the BEST!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Pretty Good, March 9, 2007
This review is from: Married to the Game (Paperback)
I think Chunichi did a GREAT job with "Married to the Game" because it grabs your attention at the 1st sentence and keeps your attention to the last sentence.

I really enjoyed it and have to give her props because I didn't know until now that it was a sequel to "A Gangster's Girl." The book stands on its own and has a captivating story line and a handful of realistic characters.

My only criticism about the book is that it left a some story lines open when it ended and left you saying, "ok that's it" or "what ever happened to her?" (The characters BJ & Danielle)

Despite that 1 complaint I still recommend "Married to the Game" to readers who want a fun, fast, interesting, and intriguing read.
