5.0 out of 5 stars Finally--sex with a sense of humor!
"Married Lust" overflows with great ideas (and ideas that definitely will be greatly appreciated by any man married to any woman who reads this book!) for keeping your marriage frisky. But what I loved most about it is Pamela Lister's down-to-earth attitude--this author has definitely been there, and she knows what it's like to try to find romance in a house...

1.0 out of 5 stars Cliched Nonsense
After wasting my money, I decided to help others avoid the same. You're better off with the quick peruse of any rag on the checkout line. This book is nothing but the same 'hot & sizzling' topics Redbook repackages every single month. Does anyone ever ask the question, isn't this last month's article, barely repositioned? This compilation of meaningless anecdotes...

"Married Lust" overflows with great ideas (and ideas that definitely will be greatly appreciated by any man married to any woman who reads this book!) for keeping your marriage frisky. But what I loved most about it is Pamela Lister's down-to-earth attitude--this author has definitely been there, and she knows what it's like to try to find romance in a house full of children and laundry baskets. It's also explicit without being tacky; if you didn't know what was what and how to make the most of it before "Married Lust," you will after (and if you think you know what's what, check the book out anyway--you may be surprised). A great guide for passionate couples or couples who want to be passionate again!

5.0 out of 5 stars Reader from NJ, June 14, 2001
By A Customer
This review is from: Married Lust: The 10 Secrets of Long Lasting Desire (Hardcover)
What a fun book!!I'm very happily re-married (in our eighth year), and I truly didn't think there were any "secrets" left, but Pamela Lister has presented in a factual, yet playful way what we 2nd marrieds all know: the old dogs want new tricks! It's always comforting to hear the real voices and escapades of real couples. It was hilarious when my husband and I both commented "we do that!" (This is anonymous, right?). We loved the book, and it's a treat to read such information from a writer who can write Lust is Good: can't wait for the next 10 secrets¡

This compilation of meaningless anecdotes insults the reader. Is there no limit a rag or writer will go to avoid an honest creative endeavor? Something worth publishing? Something worth paying for? Save your money but if you absolutely must, pick up the rag instead! It's much cheaper (and the other articles may hedge your investment)!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Marriage Affair, April 19, 2001

I don't believe for one minute that romance has to be stifled once the vows are said. Of all of my office-mates, those who are married have the most passion, according to our water cooler conversations. This book clearly spells out tips and tricks for keeping the flame burning in your marriage. I don't like the term "lust" in this context but what the author says between the covers makes sense for heating it up between the covers.

My absolute favorite book on romantic ideas is The RoMANtic's Guide.
