Sisters,
By
This review is from: Married on Mondays (Hardcover)
MARRIED ON MONDAYS by Honey B is a story of three sisters: Foxy, Victoria and Deja. All three own and operate one of the most prosperous bakeries in Crème City. However, baking is not the only thing they serve on a platter at this bakery.
Foxy is married to a successful lawyer, who never seems to be home much nor shows her much affection when he is. Foxy seeks affection in the arms of her ex-lover. Little does she know that her husband has some extra-curricular activities of his own. Victoria is married to a woman, yet she is still a virgin in a sense. Her ex-boyfriend is determined to take her virginity, even if it means taking it by force. Considering he is also the police chief makes this even more of an problem. Deja seems to have it all together, she is the glue that holds the sisters together. Yet, all three sisters have been keeping the ultimate secret from their spouses. MARRIED ON MONDAYS by Honey B was an unsatisfactory read. The storyline was borderline boring. In all honesty, I thought the whole story was unrealistic. When the spouses find out that these sisters are serving more than just pastries their reactions are highly unbelievable especially when they find out what exactly they have been serving up. Basically the storyline was implausible and most times did not make sense and therefore I cannot recommend this book. The book was provided by the publisher for review purposes. Sexual & Informative,

This review is from: Married on Mondays (Hardcover)
Marriage isn't easy. If anybody tells you marriage is easy, they're lying to you. But marriage becomes much more difficult when spouses hoard damaging secrets and fail to communicate properly with one another.
In HoneyB's new novel Married On Mondays, the lives and marriages of three sisters is examined. The three women, Déjà, Foxy, and Victoria, share the same father but different mothers, and were born only weeks apart. This sounds improbable, but the sisters do fall into a hierarchy of maturity, as if the weeks separating them were in fact years. Déjà is the leader of the three. In the pastry restaurant the three sisters own and run together, Déjà is the one that keeps the cogs moving. She takes charge and is no-nonsense, and usually is the one the other two sisters run to when things go terrible wrong. She's the "big" sister. Foxy is like the middle child; she competes with Déjà for attention and dominance out of the three. She's her own woman and indulges in her appetites in an almost carefree, reckless manner. She's needy, but views admitting dependence on others makes her weak; and she doesn't want to be weak. Victoria takes on the role of youngest sister: she is babied by the other two women, easily pushed around, and has difficulty standing up for herself. She's the first one to run to others for help, and the first to give her assistance if asked. She's open-minded, at times, but has a tendency to wander in life. Each of the sisters is married to partners in a highly successful law firm in Crème City, a fictional San Francisco, California. Déjà is married to the talented, but somewhat timid Acer; Foxy is hitched to equally unfaithful and arrogant legal ace Winston; and Victoria is married to Naomi - a woman. The three sisters keep secret from their respective spouses their sexual infidelities and a lucrative joint side business as sexperts and attractions in a sexual fantasyland. The tension in the novel begins with Foxy's long-time affair with her ex-fiancé and her failing marriage with her husband. Since the sisters work together and their spouses work together, Foxy's affair threatens the marriages and businesses of everyone. HoneyB weaves an exciting tale of deceit and lies, a result when communication in marriages fails. The sex scenes are explosive as well as informative. HoneyB does more in the sex scenes than titillate, but goes into finding the sometimes elusive female g-spot, squirting, and obtaining explosive orgasms. Communication isn't always about words, and HoneyB does a great job of adding the importance of physical and sexual communication between couples into the story. The book does require the reader to suspend disbelief in order to enjoy it. The book has quite a few improbable situations within it. There's even a shout out in the narrative to a title from another author on the Grand Central label. One of the love it or hate it moments in the book. Out of the three marriages, only the marriage between Déjà and Acer is essentially trouble-free, while the other two are crumbling. Those marriages are in trouble because the spouses try to be married only on Mondays - when it's convenient for them - not the full seven days a week. By A. ENding?,

This review is from: Married on Mondays (Hardcover)
It was an interesting book. From start to finish it was pretty interesting. I enjoyed reading it. It wasn't a major page turner but it was a nice one to flow through during comfortable times to read. The only reason I didn't like it was because the ending just stopped... There really wasn't an ending. The conflicts were resolved but it all happened in the last chapter. I expected a little more detail. It's like watching a movie about divorce and then at the end the last thing that happens is they say to each other "Let's stay together I still love you" The END. I would've liked to read about them being happy and getting pregnant and maybe celebrating a renewal of vows or something. It just didn't feel finished. Beyond that, it served it's purpose of being entertainment and I do love the cover and title and story itself!

I am a major fan on Mary B./Honey and I can honestly say that this was far from her best. I was waiting on pins and needles for this book to come out and was slightly disappointed. The storyline was almost boring. Of course all of the erotica in the best was good, but isn't she always? Definitely was not worth the wait. I'm hoping Darius Jones will be better. I'm waiting on that one too.

(RAW Rating: 3.5) - Fulfilling Fantasies,

MARRIED ON MONDAYS delves into the lives of three beautiful sisters who own a successful bakery in Cremé City and are married to partners of a prestigious law firm. At the end of the day, after the last pastry is sold and the last cup of coffee is poured, these three sensuous sisters close up shop and grant sexual fantasies to the fashionable and elite.
Foxy and Winston have been married for four years, but not happily. To appease the lack of intimacy in their marriage, they look elsewhere. Victoria, married to Naomi, is involved with a man who no longer wants sex from Victoria on her terms. Déjà constantly boast to her sisters that her marriage to Acer is perfect and out of all the three sisters, she's the most sensible one. Cremé Fantasyland is thriving until one of their frequent clients is horribly displeased and threatens to expose and shut them down. Will they stand up and fight for their business or lose everything, including their marriages? MARRIED ON MONDAYS depicts how couples take one day out of the week to act like a married couple, while the rest of the week they're having extramarital affairs. Also, HoneyB points out, if honesty isn't in the relationship from the beginning, the relationship is bound to fail; a course on which these couples are heading. There are moments in the novel when I wanted to knock some sense into the sisters. Sensually written, MARRIED ON MONDAYS is sure to have the nature of all who read it rise. This book is just like all of Honey B's other books, HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!! I loved the way she keeps you interested in all of the characters and ties everything in together. In this book Honey B has incorporated sisterly love with business sense and love for your husbands to create a book worthy of purchasing and reading all in one day! I will not tell you about the book only to tell you to go and get it if you haven't already and read it now!!!!! Great Job once again Honey B!!!!!

NOT WORTH YOUR TIME,
This review is from: Married on Mondays (Hardcover)
I have been a fan of Mary B. Morrison since I first read Soul Mates Dissipate. When she crossed over to become Honey B, I knew I'd love her even more... boy was I wrong. This is the 3rd book I've read by "Honey B" and this is BY FAR the WORST BOOK EVER!!!!!!!!!
The title doesn't even fit the book ( just one of the couples). The story line makes absolutely no sense. It is unrealistic and the ending really leaves the worst taste in your mouth. Three sisters - Deja, Foxy and Victoria own a successful pastry shop by day but also fulfill adult fantasies by night. Deja is the bossy dominatrix who is in everyone's business and is the leader of the pack. Foxy has had an affair with her ex for 3 of the 4 years she's been married is the one that's only Married on Mondays. Victoria is the married, virgin, lesbian who can't stop sleeping with her crazy ex- a man- who happens to be the chief of Police who threatens to take her virginity or take her and her sisters down. Their spouses are all partners in a powerful law firm. Deja's husband is faithful to a fault. Foxy's husband can't stop cheating on her and Victoria is the loving and understanding wife. The spouses have no idea what type of side business is being run... what will happen when they find out. Here's a hint.........N-O-T-H-I-N-G. The above summary pretty much summarizes this entire book. See how interesting it is???!!! Told you it was the WORST BOOK EVER!

Bridget's Review,
This review is from: Married on Mondays (Hardcover)
Three couples do everything together. They own a law firm together and they run a trendy swingers club. Switching partners is no big deal. At least, it wasn't a big deal until the police chief tells one of the women that if she doesn't sleep with him, he will haul her off to jail. There are only two options. Sleep with the officer and keep the business running or say no and risk losing all that they have worked for.
I love HoneyB. She brings her characters to life in ways that no other author can. Even if you know that something is about to happen, she throws in a slight curve ball to keep you on your toes.

This book was so unrealistic. There is no way three husbands would have a calm reaction to their wives performing "favors" for money. I was so upset that I wasted my time reading this book.

I felt this book was not as good as HoneyB's other books. I read all her books and this one for me was a waste of my money. Although i did not like the book i continued to read it. Let me say I AM A FAN OF HONEYB, but this book was awful to me. It lack character, background info and a story line.
