This is John Ronan's best work in poetry to-date. He's also a film-maker and a playwright. He has a way with words which I would like to think comes from his Irish background and many of the poems find their locale in Ireland. If you like alliteration, you'll like these poems, but the use of alliteration is both sly and charming---like many of these poems.
