4.0 out of 5 stars I Liked It!
People need to realize that this is 'fiction' not real life, at least in my world. I liked the book and the previous book about his brother Noah. Though it deals with a lot of money being offered and taken, I thought it was a good book. Just let your imagination flow. There are people in this real world that are not much different than the characters in Sarah's books...

1.0 out of 5 stars What a waste
This is just a bad book. Book had no flow and the characters were not likeable.
In the epilogue they did not even get the baby's name correct. It was Emily NOT Erin.
I painfully finished the book but in retrospect what a waste of time.

I picked this book up because I thought I remembered enjoying Sara Orwig's writing. While there is nothing technically wrong with her writing, the story itself is almost unbearable. I really dislike both characters. The woman is described as ambitious. I think a better word is avaricious. Everything she does is for money. She takes a job she considers a demotion and an end to her career, in a place she hates, working with a man she looks down her nose at and thinks of as little more than a hick. Why? Money. Marries that self-same man. Why? Money. He takes a job working in his family company, which he detests. Why? Money. He marries her. Why? Money. It makes me sick to read this tale of characters who are motivated only by how much money they'll make. Especially in these economic times, reading a tale of a billionaire who just has to take this rotten deal, because it'll get him a million more, just really sits wrong. I really dislike both characters, and doubt I'll finish the book. As for it being in the "desire" line, I'm not seeing it. Perhaps it's because I dislike them so, but any romance between them seems flat and rote.

Save your money.
