Book Description

October 1, 2004 Silhouette Special Edition (Book 1639)

"Tate Bravo...I'm pregnant..."

Mayor Molly O'Dare had sworn she would never end up like her granny or her mother before her: pregnant and unmarried. Yet here she was expecting Tate Bravo's baby. The very man who thought her town was his town....

Now, not only was Tate proposing marriage, he was "demanding" she marry him--again...and again...and again. The secret passion they shared drew them together; his constant proposals were tearing them apart....

Until, with the help of Molly's meddling mother, Tate had a plan. So would Molly be an immovable object--or would Tate indeed be Marrying Molly before the baby was born?

5.0 out of 5 stars The Marrying Kind!, December 5, 2004
By
This review is from: Marrying Molly (Silhouette Special Edition No. 1639)(Bravo Family Ties series) (Mass Market Paperback)
Molly is pregnant with Tate's baby. He wants to marry her but she refuses because she has issues about marriage and doesn't think that either one of them is marriage material.

The story takes place in a small town where everyone knows everyone else's business and talk about the going ons in the town spread as fast as a fire. Molly gets her share of unsolicited advice from folks not afraid to give it.

The characters are all different and fun to follow. Probably my favorite character is Molly's grandmother, Granny Dusty, described as the "man-hatingest woman in Throckleford County." Her antics and comments are just too funny!

The main characters Molly O'Dare and Tate Bravo fit each other so well. It is satisfying to read about how they gradually come to terms with their issues and feelings for each other. The story of their journey to the altar is an appealing read. Like the townspeople, you'll want to witness the part where Molly finally says, "I do."

By the end of the book, you'll be glad that you didn't miss Molly and Tate's story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Tate's Junction's Mayor to have a Baby!, October 9, 2004
This review is from: Marrying Molly (Silhouette Special Edition No. 1639)(Bravo Family Ties series) (Mass Market Paperback)
This is a great addition to Ms Rimmer's Bravo Family series. The book has her usual bunch of humorous characters w/a fun story. Molly O'Dare and Tate Bravo had a short secret affair and now Molly's going to have a baby! Molly has lived her whole life in and now is the mayor of and also owns a hair salon, The Cut, in Tate Bravo's many generations back Tate grandfather's town of Tate Junction, TX. Molly's had a crush on Tate forever and that's what got her in this situation--Tate's a town council member and after one of the meetings he takes Molly to dinner at his house well one thing lead to another and their affair started.Molly has been elected to be the Mayor of the whole town not just Tate's money-making businesses, he's a silent partner in most of the businesses in town. They do differ over most things and Molly and her clients want social programs for all. Molly isn't ready to marry Tate right now but Tate wants his way and he wants Molly so to put the pressure on her he tells her clients that she's pregnant with his child. We get to watch the town, Molly's mother man-loving Dixie, her grandmother man-hating Dusty and Tate's brother Tucker all react to the news. We also read of Tate's growing into a wonderful man and great husband & father material and Molly's understanding of Tate and love! Tucker's story will be released next year -- I can hardly wait.
